In this course the student will learn basics of the Programmable Logic Controller using the Mitsubishi Q series PLC to understand what it does and how it works. Students will cover system hardware, numbering systems, inputs, outputs, configuration, the GX Works2 Software, connecting to the PLC, and basic ladder programming functions. Students will be hands-on using the computer to communicate and experience first hand the operation of the PLC. Students will hardwire actual Inputs and Outputs to the PLC. This course is intended for Technicians to gain knowledge and hands on experience with the Mitsubishi GX Works2 software and Q series PLC in order to maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems.
